Non-Smoking Policy

Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted in the building or near the entrance to the building. Smokers may utilize designated smoking areas behind the building and must dispose of their cigarette butts appropriately. Littering of cigarette butts in our parking lot or otherwise on our property is not permitted. Violations to this non-smoking policy fall under our Incidental Damages Policy and a fee will be charged accordingly. Interfering with smoke detectors is a state crime and violations will be reported to law enforcement.

Incidental Damages Policy

Fergus Inn places a hold of $250 plus tax on each reservation for incidental damages that may occur. These may include, but are not limited to: unauthorized pets in the room; smoking and/or vaping inside the property, a strong smoke odor left in the room, or tampering with smoke detectors; unauthorized overnight guests; any theft, illegal activity, civil disturbance, or damage to hotel property. In signing this agreement, you agree to this policy and agree to pay the $250 plus tax damage charge should Hotel 8 deem you liable for damages.
